I wish I could take really artistic & beautiful photos, but I can't. I wish I was a creative writer, but I'm not. Instead, I take my kids all over the city (& sometimes the country, too!) to experience the wonders of life. And then I slap up some point-and-shoot pictures & tell you plainly about it.

Great Jazz on the Great Lawn
My father has been coming to NYC on business for the past few months, and usually has some time to spend with his grandkids. So one Saturday in July we met up with him in Central Park to enjoy some Jazz- they had some kiddie activities to celebrate Duke Ellington (including making top hats), and also a bracelet craft table- which is where my girls spent all their time. Then we picnicked and listened to some more music & then strolled through the park, ending up at a diner for some milkshakes and ice cream.
