Yum!

One of Lexi's favorite things to eat is pasta with mom's homemade tomato sauce. But whenever she eats it, we have to strip her down to the diaper since she is still practicing her hand-mouth coordination. Most of the time, she heads straight to the bath after dinner to clean up and splash in the bubbles.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at the Snedecor's lake house. Aunt Allie gave Lexi some new pajamas for Christmas... isn't she cute?

We spent Christmas in Upstate New York with Kendra's family this year. Matt was so excited to give Lexi this big tube- she loved crawling through it!

Lexi is 1!!

We celebrated Lexi's first birthday in upstate New York with Kendra's family. Kendra made a chocolate cake (from scratch!) with whipped cream icing. We cut a rather generous piece for Lexi and just let her eat to her heart's content. It was really her first experience with chocolate and she seemed to love it. She was a bit wound up after that, but who wouldn't be on their very first birthday?! Grandma Susan bought her a special bib that said "My First New Year's".
